Believers Church Bengaluru Diocese installed bore wells in two villages on the 21st of Decemeber 2013 in the state of Karnataka.
The villages had been suffering from water scarcity for years. The women in the family had to go early in the morning and walk several kilometers to fetch water for their family and their livestock. The water they got was contaminated and had a bad smell.
Considering their struggle for water, Believers Church decided to install bore wells in the villages. Now they get clean water on a daily basis and they get more time to take care of their families. The villagers are grateful to Believers Church for its efforts to provide water. One beneficiary said, “Now our children grow healthier and have no water-related disease. Our girls can go to schools and spend more time for themselves.”
This is just one example of how Believers Church provides water to communities in need. Each year the church drills hundreds of wells in required villages.
