Believers Youth in Diocese of Dimapur Observe International Youth Day

A Believers Youth team from a local parish in Diocese of Dimapur organized a special meeting on the occasion of International Youth Day, commemorated every year on August 12.

Mrs. Yimok Phom, Assitant District Program Manager, was the resource person at the meeting. Quoting Matthew 14:22, about St Peter walking on water, she encouraged the participants to have faith in the Lord and keep their eyes fixed on the Lord Jesus.

Mr. Lato Lims, Village Council Secretary, gave a short exhortation on the topic “Be the Light” and explained how we can build each other up through love and kindness.

During the program, the women’s fellowship and youth teams of the parish presented special songs, while Sunday school children presented an action song.

More than 50 youth took part in the meeting. One of the participants by name Honosh Marak said, “I am so blessed by hearing the message from the resource person and it will always remain in my heart”.

Alito Swu said, “I thank God for the message came to us today, I am really encouraged.”
