On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Believers Youth, in collaboration with the National Council of Churches in India (NCCI), organized an impactful event centered on the theme, “Mental Health in the Age of Anxiety.”
His Holiness Moran Mor Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the significance of mental well-being and encouraging all to prioritize their mental health in today’s fast-paced world.
His Grace Dr. Geevarghese Mar Yulios, Metropolitan of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church and President of the NCCI, inaugurated the event with a profound address, underscoring the growing importance of addressing mental health challenges in the modern era.
Ms. Smriti Priyansha, NCCI Youth Secretary, delivered a powerful keynote speech, focusing on the pivotal role of church-led initiatives in raising awareness and fostering mental health support within communities.
The event was also graced by the presence of His Eminence Martin Mor Aprem Episcopa, Archbishop of the Chennai Archdiocese, along with representatives from Believers Youth and other distinguished guests.
