Believers Eastern Church Parishes Celebrate the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul

Believers Eastern Church parishes celebrated the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul with the Divine Liturgy and Holy Eucharist on 29 June 2022.

HG Geevarghese Mor Makariose Episcopa presided over the celebrations held St. Peters Believes Eastern Church Cathedral in Diocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The faithful turned up in large numbers to celebrate the feast which was held in a low-key manner due to the ongoing economic crisis in the country.

A parish in Diocese of Chandigarh began the liturgical feast with a procession followed by the Eucharistic celebration.

The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is a liturgical feast observed on 29 June, in honour of the martyrdom in Rome of the apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
