Believers Eastern Church Parishes Celebrate Palm Sunday

Believers Eastern Church parishes across the globe observed Palm Sunday, remembering the day Jesus made his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the most solemn week of the Church year.

Holding palm fronds and crosses made of fresh cut palm leaves, the faithful took out processions during the special services that were held early in the morning across the parishes.

HH Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan was the chief celebrant of the Palm Sunday service held at the St. Thomas Believers Eastern Church Cathedral, Thiruvalla.
