Believers Eastern Church Parishes Celebrate Mother’s Day
May 12, 2019On 12 May 2019 Believers Eastern Church parishes celebrated mother’s day to honor mothers and make them feel special.
Sunday school children dedicated special songs to mothers and women of the parishes and presented them with gifts such as handmade cards, fresh flowers and sweets as a way of appreciation for all they do for the wellbeing of their families. Utensils and hygiene supplies also were distributed to mothers at few places.
To show their love and respect for their moms, children in some parishes washed the feet of their mothers and received blessings from them by touching their feet.
Special prayers also were offered for mothers across all parishes.
