Believers Eastern Church Parish in Nagaland Celebrates Silver Jubilee

A local parish in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Dimapur celebrated its silver jubilee on 29th and 30the October 2022, under the theme, “Great is thy faithfulness” based on Lamentations 3:23.

With joyful hearts, the priest and members of the church, around 650 people, took part in the celebrations, praising and thanking the Lord for 25 years of grace and blessings upon their families and parish.

The celebrations began with a candle light march, followed by praise and worship and a Gospel message delivered by Rev. Kilang Jamir, Director, Harvest ministry.

The second day’s program commenced with the unveiling of jubilee monolith by the diocese advisor. In his homily, he exhorted the congregation to count their blessings one by one and remember the past with gratitude.

Speaking at the final session, the diocesan vicar encouraged the believers to be faithful in all circumstances and keep walking in the love of God.

The highlight of the celebrations was the melodious songs performed by various choirs which kept the congregation glued to their seats.

The program ended with mass prayer and a candle light service.
