Believers Church Uttarakhand installed a bore well in a village called Tikunia Nazir in the district of Pilibhit. The well was inaugurated on 22nd February 2012.
Pr. Rajesh initiated giving this well. The pastor lives in Bhooda, four kilometers away from Tikunia Nazir. Realizing that the community in Tikunia Nazir was suffering from a water crisis, Pr. Rajesh talked to the village head, Mr. Aklakh Hussein.
Though there was a bore well in the village, it had dried up due to low depth and too much heat. The people were struggling greatly to get clean water. The pastor made a request to Believers Church Uttarakhand to install a bore well in this village. The Uttarakhand leadership agreed and the well was completed on 22nd February 2012.
Around 80 families draw water from the new bore well each day and testify that the water is clean and pure. The village head is grateful and has asked people not to misuse the well but to keep it neat and clean always. The local people appreciate Believers Church for helping humanity and providing the well free of cost. Believers Church has installed thousands of wells in needy villages like this one throughout South Asia.
