Believers Church Tinsukia celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2016 by organizing various programs and social work.
Several sports’ events were held on this day, starting with volleyball match. It was followed by caroms and fun games like musical chair and popping balloons. Staff, their families, Sunday school children and community members took part in the competitions.
In the evening, youths of the church presented a cultural program focused on patriotism. They enthralled the audience with vibrant dance and song performances.
The church also conducted a social work on 13th August 2016. The staff and church volunteers actively took part in the clean-up drive and they cleaned roads and adjoining areas. They were happy that they could do their bit for the nation and raise awareness among people on the need to maintain environmental cleanliness.
