Believers Church Sikkim Distributes Food and Clothes to Lepers on World Leprosy Day

Believers Church Sikkim organized a social welfare program on 30th January 2015, World Leprosy Day, in a leprosy colony.

A team of some social workers and Bridge of Hope staffs went and visited their colony. They distributed shoes and clothes to each leper and sweets to their children. Later, they distributed food packets to each person and ate food with them.

“My family hated me and deserted me when I got affected with leprosy,” said Ram Prasad, a leper. “You are stranger to me. But you came and showed your love, care and kindness toward us.”
