Believers Church Nagpur Does “Marvelous Work” to Uplift Poor

Believers Church Nagpur organized a poverty alleviation program to help the surrounding community on 3rd March 2012. The program was conducted under the leadership of Nagpur Vicar General Rev. Fr. Roy.

Mr. Yogesh Tivari (newly elected ward member, Rambag Nagpur) and Mr. John Thomas (Congress Party district chairman) were the special guests.

Rev. Fr. Sanjay (zonal leader) led the program. He read a Scripture portion that said, “Sell your possessions and give to the poor.” He also shared about the vision and passion of Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan for the people of the nation. Mr. Yogesh Tivari said, “Believers Church is doing a marvelous work of charity for the upliftment of the poor in our country that no other organization does. May God bless the leadership of Believers Church.”

On this occasion, Nagpur Diocese freely gave gifts such as hand carts, cycle rickshaws, sewing machine and bicycles to 192 families, benefitting the entire community.
