Believers Church Jammu Organizes Free Medical Camp; 700 Poor Children Benefited

Believers Church Jammu and Kashmir held free medical camps at four places through Bridge of Hope on 25th and 26th September 2017.

As more and more people are suffering from dengue, typhoid and viral fever these days, the diocese held the free camps to provide free treatment to children hailing from poor families that can’t afford the cost of treatment in hospital.

During the camps, experienced doctors provided free consultation to the children and distributed free medicines among them. Those suffering from serious illnesses were referred to other hospitals for further treatment.

Around 700 children, including some parents benefited from this noble initiative.

Noshad Khan, a parent who attended this medical camp, said, “I am deeply thankful to the church for conducting this free medical camp. I was suffering from constant stomach-ache for the last five months, but I did not have money to go to hospital for checkups. Today I and my son got free medical checkup and free medicines as well. Thank you so much”.
