On the 16th of August 2013, Believers Church Sikkim inaugurated a water tank in a village. The church had already installed one water tank in 2012, but there was a need for more tanks in the village. Due to lack of adequate water facilities, many villagers had to walk kilometers to fetch water from a natural fountain for their daily use.
Keeping in mind the need for accessible water, Believers Church decided to install another water tank this year. The inauguration ceremony began at 12:30 in the afternoon with the prayer of Pastor Ranjit. At the end of the program, Rev. Fr. Sajit shared about Metropolitan Dr. K.P Yohannan’s love and concern for the poor and needy community.
The villagers were so happy. Now, they are able to use the water for their needs.
This is only one of many places where Believers Church has helped a community to gain access to adequate water facilities.
