Believers Church Himachal Pradesh inaugurated a tailoring unit in a Bridge of Hope center on 22nd May 2014. The tailoring unit will teach community members living under poverty line how to sew, enabling them to earn money to support their families.
Mr. Dinesh Arya (head of the village) was the chief guest of the program. In his short speech he said, “I am very much delighted to express my heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of Believers Church for the project center in our place; through this many women will learn tailoring, which can increase the income of the families and help them to run their families.”
Sis. Reeta said “I wanted to learn tailoring, but due to the lack of money I could not attend the class. But now Believers Church opened a tailoring unit for all, free of cost. It is like a dream come true.”
Vocational training is just one example of how Believers Church empowers people to sustain themselves and become productive members of society.
