In order to spread the message of the ‘Clean India’ campaign proposed by the honorable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, Believers Church Himachal Pradesh organized a social work on 2nd October 2014. Seventy people including diocesan staff cleaned a railway station and its premises that day.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Daniel inaugurated the program and Mr. Dinesh Sharma (Railway Traffic Inspector), Mr. Amar Singh Thakur (Chief Commercial Inspector) and Mr. B.D. Meena (Div. Chief Commercial Manager) took part in these activities.
They cleaned up the station and its surroundings by removing the waste, plastic materials and the plants that grown there. Railway staff also joined them in cleaning by seeing their efforts. Their united work made that program a big success.
It is just another example of how Believers Church acted according to the challenge towards PM’s ‘Clean India’ campaign.
