Believers Church Haryana observed Independence Day in 2009 by giving tribute to India and conducting social service in the community.
The head of the village was invited as chief guest to hoist the national flag. The crowd then sang the national anthem. The chief guest encouraged the people to respect India, its flag and its laws.
After the program, Believers Church workers cleaned the local police station. They mopped the office, cleaned the toilets and kitchen and washed vessels.
Also, the team plucked weeds surrounding the station and planted grass in front of the building. The in-charge of the police station appreciated the initiative taken by Believers Church.
Believers Church served communities throughout India in honor of Independence Day.
