Believers Church Diocese of Patna organized a free medical camp for a backward community members on 18th February 2016.
These people do not have a good job or a stable income and are very poor. So, the church organized this camp to help them to have access to healthcare services. A general doctor from a nearby local hospital was invited for this camp. He came and taught the people about the importance of hygiene in preventing many diseases. Later, he provided general health checkups and medicines to all who came for the camp.
150 people received free healthcare that day. “I was suffering from stomach ache and tiredness for a long time,” said Chandmuni Devi. “Thank you so much for helping me to receive treatments and medicines freely.”
Through Medical Camps and Medical Awareness programs, Believers Church ensures the health of people living in poverty.
