Awareness Rally Marks World AIDS Day in Diocese of Bhopal
December 1, 2016On 1st December 2016, Believers Church Diocese of Bhopal took out an AIDS awareness rally to mark World AIDS Day.
Over 120 people took part in the rally to bring awareness in society about the AIDS pandemic and encourage people to protect themselves from this dreadful disease.
The rally started from the main market which is the center place of the town and marched through various streets before culminating at a village, 3 kilometers away from the market.
Displaying banners and placards and raising slogans, the participants of the rally also distributed hundreds of pamphlets among people to create awareness about AIDS and HIV infection. While receiving the AIDS awareness handouts, many expressed their appreciation towards the church for taking this effort.
