Awareness Rally Conducted in Himachal Pradesh on International Literacy Day
September 8, 2014Believers Church Himachal Pradesh conducted an awareness rally on International Literacy Day to raise recognition on the importance of education and literacy in society. One hundred fifty people including diocesan staff and Bridge of Hope children took part in it.
The participants carried different placards, banners and slogans raising the theme ‘Literacy and Sustainable Development’.
The rally was a great success and community members appreciated the church for organizing such an awareness program.
Believers Church empowers the members of developing communities through adult literacy programs and vocational training opportunities.
