Awareness Program, Mosquito Net Distribution Mark World Mosquito Day in Diocese of Dehradun

Believers Church Diocese of Dehradun observed World Mosquito Day on 20th August 2016.

The diocese held an awareness program at a government school on this day to bring awareness among school students about the diseases caused by mosquitoes and the prevention of the mosquito-borne diseases.

The youths of the church performed a skit based on women’s life in villages. Through the skit, they conveyed the message of how mosquito net is useful to protect an individual from mosquito menace and at the same time how dangerous it is to live without protection in mosquito infested areas.

At the end of the program, mosquito nets were distributed to 45 students and 5 members of the school staff.
