Aurangabad Raises Awareness on World Water Day

A Women’s Fellowship team of Believers Church Aurangabad celebrated World Water Day on 22nd March 2013. Their goal was to teach villagers and slum dwellers to drink safe water, to save water and to maintain cleanliness—lessons that will deter disease.

Around 50 women and children gathered for the program.

Rebeka, one team member, gave six tips on how to save water. The team also shared slogans such as “Without water there cannot be food produced” and “Save water, save life”.

Through this program, many community members made a strong decision to save water for the upcoming generation.

Believers Church takes World Water Day as a special time for to raise awareness about water issues. In addition, the church provides safe water to thousands through drilling wells and providing BioSand water filters.
