Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan Extends Condolences for the Passing of Ex-Kerala CM Oommen Chandy

Former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy passed away aged 79 in the early hours of Tuesday.

“Shri Oommen Chandy, a great statesman and former Chief Minister of Kerala has passed away. It can never be forgotten that his works were able to make a great impact on the minds of the people. His remarkable governance and dedication to public service will forever be etched in our hearts and memories. He shared a close friendship and affection with Believers Eastern Church. This is indeed a great loss for the church as well. Expressing deep sorrow and condolences on behalf of the episcopas, priests and the faithful of Believers Eastern Church,” Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan said in a Facebook post.
