Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan Delivers Inaugural Address at the Carol Singing Competition

HH Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan delivered the inaugural address at the ‘Swargiya Sangeetham’ Carol Singing competition organized jointly by Malayala Manorama and Believers Church Medical College Hospital.

Mr. John Kakkad, Coordinating Editor, Malayala Manorama Pathanamthitta, presided over the program and Rev. Fr. Sijo Panthapaillil, Believers Church Medical College Manager, gave a welcome speech.

Altogether, six choirs took part in the competition and brought Christmas cheer through their melodious singing. The Mallapally Mellow Circle, St. Thomas Marthoma Church Choir and Believers Church Residential School won the first, second and third place respectively. Mr. Ison Thomas, Malayala Manorama Senior Sub Editor delivered the vote of thanks at the program.
