Around 500 Needy Children Receive Notebooks in Diocese of Solan

To ensure learning continuity for underprivileged children during this Pandemic, Believers Eastern Church Mission Diocese of Solan held notebook distributions through Hope for Children, from 20 January 2021 to 24 February 2021.

Around 500 children, enrolled in various Hope for Children centers, received notebooks during the distribution programs held in Solan, Sirmaur, Shimla, Kangra and Kullu districts of Himachal Pradesh. Each child received a notebook set containing eight notebooks.

Ajeet Negi, a village head said, “I appreciate Hope for Children for distributing notebooks to the needy children in our society. Due to COVID-19 many parents have lost their jobs and have been unable to bear the education expenses of their children. So this distribution is going to be a great help for them”.
