In a commendable act of compassion, the Believers Eastern Church Archdiocese of Kathmandu, Nepal, recently distributed warm fiber blankets to the underprivileged residents of Tinchamake, a remote and hilly village in the Sindhuli district.
Tinchamake village, nestled in the remote areas of Sindhuli, is home to 24 families who predominantly rely on agriculture and animal husbandry for their livelihood. Unfortunately, these means often prove insufficient, forcing many men to migrate to urban areas in search of employment.
Understanding the urgent needs of these families, Believers Eastern Church Nepal stepped in to provide essential support. The distribution of fiber blankets brought much-needed relief to these families, who now have better protection against the harsh winter cold and related health risks.
The recipients of the blankets expressed their deep gratitude to the church and its leaders for their timely assistance. Surya Bahadur Magar, one of the beneficiaries, shared his heartfelt appreciation, saying, “Thank you for understanding our urgent need and extending your love and support toward us. These blankets will really protect us from the harsh winter cold and related health issues.”
