More than 200 people have died in Nepal following days of relentless rain that triggered severe flooding and major landslides across the country. Thousands of homes have been damaged in what is considered the worst flooding in the Kathmandu Valley in recent years.
In response to the widespread devastation, the Believers Eastern Church Archdiocese of Kathmandu stepped forward to provide much-needed relief to those affected in Lalitpur. The diocese mobilized its resources to deliver essential supplies, including rice and other necessities, to the flood victims.
This timely intervention is part of the church’s ongoing commitment to serving the most vulnerable during times of crisis, offering both physical aid and spiritual support to those in need.
The Archdiocese continues to work alongside local authorities and other relief agencies to extend its outreach, bringing hope and comfort to those affected by the disaster.
