St. John Believers Eastern Church Parish in Archdiocese of Delhi organized a summer camp on 25 June 2022.
The one-day camp was centered on the theme “Church: The pillar and foundation of truth”. More than 130 individuals including children, youth and parents, representing different local parishes under the Delhi archdiocese attended the camp.
H.G. John Mor Irenaeus Episcopa was the main speaker at the camp. He spoke on Christian family based on Psalm 127 and talked about how to build a household of faith.
In between sessions, the local church youth and Sisters of Compassion team performed skits and special songs and conducted different games which kept the participants happy and engaged.
One of the highlights of the camp was the drawing competition held for the children. Several children took part in the competition with great joy and enthusiasm.
The camp drew to a close with the prayer and benediction offered by H.G. John Mor Irenaeus Episcopa.
Amarjeet, one of the participants, said, “This program was a huge blessing to my life. Organizing programs like this regularly would definitely bring growth in the lives of believers in many ways.”
