Anti-Tobacco Campaign Held on World No Tobacco Day

Believers Church Patna Diocese held an anti-tobacco awareness program on World No Tobacco Day, 31st May 2014. Altogether 400 people attended the program which was themed “United for a Tobacco-Free Bihar”.

Ms. Poonam Devi (Local MLA) was the chief guest of the program and inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

Bishop M. A. Lalachan talked to the audience about the theme verse of the program which was “Touch no unclean thing, and God will receive you.” (2 Corinthians 6:17). Also he talked about the health impacts of tobacco.

Believers Church takes World No Tobacco Day as a special time to raise awareness about tobacco and it’s deadly effects.
