A new Bridge of Hope center was inaugurated by Believers Church Lucknow Diocese on the 19th of July.
The children of this community are from a very poor background. Their parents are beggars who do not understand the value of education. The new Bridge of Hope center will work for the upliftment of these children as well as for the holistic development of the entire village.
Mr. Jiyalal Tiwari (District Development Coordinator) and Rev. Fr. Abishek were the chief guests on the occasion. The inaugural program started with a word of prayer by Rev. Fr. Hoob, followed by lighting of the lamp.
Mr. Jiyalal in his address said, “What the people of this generation are doing is really appreciated. I would like to take this time to admire and appreciate the achievement and steps taken by Believers Church.”
Rev. Fr. Abishek during his speech welcomed the villagers and government officials to join forces against poverty, illiteracy and unemployment to create a healthy and civilized society for tomorrow.
Believers Church’s Bridge of Hope provides free education, health care, nutritious food and school supplies for thousands of underprivileged children throughout India and other nations.
