AIDS Rally Raises Awareness in Kolkata
December 1, 2012Believers Church Kolkata Diocese observed World AIDS Day on 1st December 2012. They rallied from a nearby Children’s Park to Madhyamgram raising awareness. Church staff and Minor Seminary students walked through the city distributing pamphlets on AIDS.
After the rally, people gathered to learn about the disease. Chief guest Dr. Tapan Biswas clearly explained AIDS and how to prevent it. He appreciated Believers Church for holding this kind of awareness program.
Believers Church organized rallies and awareness events in hundreds of communities, replacing misconceptions with medical facts and precautionary information.
