A Parish in Diocese of Dhaka Distributes Sarees to Needy Widows
August 17, 2022A local church in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Dhaka in Bangladesh organized a saree distribution among widows on 9 August 2022.
Many of these widows are struggling for survival especially those with small children to look after. The church distributed more than 30 sarees among them.
Sumi Besra, one of the recipients, said, “I am very happy to have received this saree. I’m touched by your love and concern for widows like us”.
