7,300 People Receive Free Medical Checkups in Diocese of Gorakhpur

Believers Church Diocese of Gorakhpur provided free medical treatments to 7,300 people through medical camps organized by Bridge of Hope between 8th and 24th October 2014.

The main purpose for conducting these medical camps was to provide free medical care in rural villages to people who normally do not receive such attention and also give healthcare tips to prevent diseases.

Teams of doctors including child specialists, physiotherapists and gynaecologists gave the required medical treatments. They were so glad to serve people. “Thank you so much for giving us an opportunity to serve these people with our skills,” said Dr. Vikash Agarwal, MBBS.

The recipients also were thankful towards the church for giving them free medical care.

Through medical camps, the church provides free examinations and medications in communities lacking access to healthcare.
