72 People Receive Poverty Alleviating Gifts in the Diocese of Odisha
January 8, 2014The Diocese of Odisha held a poverty alleviation program on 8th January 2014. Seventy-two people received gifts and the gifts included goats, cows, sewing machines, bicycles, roofing sheets and blankets.
Mr. Eapen Sahu (journalist) was the chief guest of the program. He appreciated the work of the church among the poor and needy.
The Poverty Alleviation project helps people to find a steady income to break the cycle of poverty.
