70 People Donate Blood For a Noble Cause

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Birtamod held a blood donation camp in association with Nepal Red Cross Society on 12 August 2018.

Altogether, 70 people, including 22 women from the diocese donated their blood for a noble cause that day.

“I am happy that for the first time I could be part of this camp and donate my blood which can save the life of someone in need”, said Pratima Luitel, one of the blood donors.

Mr. Bimal Acharya (Mayor of municipality) appreciated the church for the noble initiative saying, “I am so happy to see the church doing this great work in the society.” He conveyed his gratitude to all those who came forward to donate their blood to save precious lives.
