Believers Church Himachal Pradesh organized a community development program on 12th December 2014. 64 families including some widows received sewing machines and mosquito nets that day.
Rev. Fr. Jagan distributed the gifts to all beneficiaries. Now, these gifts will help them to find a way to make an income and break the cycle of poverty.
“I really needed a sewing machine but I didn’t have money to buy one,” said Asha Devi , a beneficiary. “Thank you so much for providing me with a sewing machine.”
Events like this are example of how the church is taking care of the needs of poor and destitute through its Poverty Alleviation Project.
