Bridge of Hope in Believers Church Patna Diocese organized free medical camps at all their project centers in the month of October 2013.
The camps were organized to assist the poor who could not get proper medical services. Eye, heart, ears, teeth and bones were checked. Skin disease treatment and gynecological examinations were also done. A large number of parents and guardians were present at the camps and appreciated the services of Bridge of Hope.
The outcome of the medical camp was extremely positive as more than 6,000 people were beneficiaries of the camps. They were checked and treated for different types of ailments and some cases were referred to hospitals.
Around 12 eminent doctors from various hospitals took part and rendered their services. Bridge of Hope took the responsibility of providing all necessary medicines and drugs at the camps.
The medical camp is just one aspect of Believers Church’s medical initiatives. The Church holds medical camps and health awareness programs in different locations all over India.
