60 BioSand Water Filters Distributed in Siliguri Diocese

Believers Church Siliguri Diocese held a BioSand water filter distribution program on 22nd April 2014. Overall 60 water filters were distributed among the people.

Shri Joyraj Narzinary (Gram Panchyat member) was the chief guest of the distribution program. In his short speech he said, “I would personally like to thank Believers Church and its leadership. They took great iniatative to help the poor and needy community in our society.”

Suni, one of a beneficiaries, said, “The water which we usually use here is contaminated with iron and it’s not safe to drink. Due to this impure water we used to get sick. This filter will help us to get the pure water for our needs.”

Pure drinking water significantly changes the health of a people. Believers Church through its clean water project has provide thousands of needy communities BioSand water filters and bore wells.
