In a significant effort to bring compassionate care and medical support to those in hard-to-reach areas, the Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Vizag recently organized a free medical camp to provide essential healthcare services to the residents of the remote Paderu region. This area remains underserved, with limited access to specialized medical facilities.
The camp, which was inaugurated by His Grace Joseph Mor Demetrius Episcopa, the Diocesan Bishop, extended medical attention to 570 individuals, offering free checkups and medicines. The initiative ensured that each person received the care they needed, reflecting the church’s commitment to supporting the health and well-being of marginalized communities.
Alongside the Diocesan Bishop, the Diocesan Vicar, Provincial Vicar, and other diocesan team members were also present, contributing to the smooth and effective operation of the camp. Their presence highlighted the collaborative spirit and dedication of the church in serving those in need.
