540 People Benefit From Poverty Alleviation Program in Uttarakhand

Believers Church Uttarakhand held a poverty alleviation program on 17th May 2014. Five hundred forty people got benefited from the program.

The gifts included blankets, bicycles, sewing machines, rickshaws, telas, wheelchairs and lawn mowing machines.

Sis. Afsaana, who received a sewing machine, said, “I am thankful to the church for providing me a sewing machine with a pedal. I was in an urgent need for a machine because my sewing machine was not working for a long time. I was not able to stitch the clothes. Now I can get back to work and earn some money for my family.”

Believers Church provides tens of thousands of free income-generating gifts to poor and needy people each year to break the cycle of poverty.
