On 10th June 2014, Believers Church Sikkim inaugurated a water tank for villagers lacking an accessible water source. More than 500 villagers now depend on this water tank for their daily needs.
The villagers were facing water scarcity for a long time; the nearest water resource was two kilometers away. They were in need of a constant water source, so Believers Church took initiative to install a water tank for the villagers.
Mrs. Dena Rai (panchayat member) was the chief guest of the program. In her short speech she said, “I am amazed that Believers Church doing such a great work among the needy community. I really appreciate the church for its great work.”
Believers Church has provided safe drinking water to thousands of communities through its clean water project.
