500 People Get Pure Drinking Water in the Diocese of Bengaluru

The Diocese of Bengaluru installed four new bore wells in different locations on 3rd July 2014. Altogether 500 people use this bore well for their daily water needs.

For a long time the villagers were facing water scarcity. The situation worsens in summer because most of the ponds get dried up. The villagers used to walk kilometers under the hot sun to fetch drinking water. In this situation the church took the initiative to install bore wells.

The villagers were very happy for their new water source. Some said, “We had to travel one kilometer to get drinking water and now we don’t have to travel nor do we have to worry about carrying a large amount of water. Thank you, Believers Church, for lending a helping hand and making our lives very easy.”
