Believers Church Diocese of Kathmandu organized a free medical camp on 18th August, 2014. Overall 500 people attended this program and received free medical check-ups, medicines and treatments.
The main goal of this program was to provide free medical aid to the poor people who were not able to afford proper medical facilities. So, a team of doctors including physicians, dentists, orthopedics, gynecologists and nutritionists came forward offering the required medical care and treatments.
The whole program was coordinated by Rev. Fr. Purna and all the people who attended the camp were so much happy with the efforts taken by the church. “The medical camp was really useful for me,” said Talki Adhikary, an old woman, “Thank you so much for providing me the medical treatments freely.”
The medical camps are just one aspect of Believers Church’s medical initiatives. The church holds medical camps and health awareness programs to ensure the needy communities a better health.
