On 29 June 2021, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu distributed relief materials to 50 covid-hit families in Rautahat District, Nepal.
During the distribution program, Mrs. Sumitra Devi, ward member, appreciated the work of the church saying, “The deadly Covid-19 pandemic has affected the lives and livelihoods of so many people. Many families are going through starvation at this time. I am very happy and thankful to the church for taking the initiative to help these poor and needy families in the time of crisis. Let your work be fruitful always.”
Later, the relief materials were distributed to the needy families. Each family received 30 kg rice, 1 kg pulse, 1 kg salt and 1 litre oil. The recipients were so thankful to the church for the timely help.
Bagari Majhi said, “God bless you richly for showing love and kindness to us during this pandemic. We will not have difficulty surviving this lockdown for next one month, because you have provided enough rations to last a whole month.”
