49 Families Benefit from Gift-Distribution Program in Diocese of Udaipur

An income-generating gift distribution program was conducted in Believers Church Diocese of Udaipur on 14th August, 2014. Five boats, 14 sewing machines and items for 30 stationary shops were distributed during this program.

Mr. Mangal Singh (Sarpanch) was the chief guest of the program and he appreciated the active involvement of the church in various social activities. He then distributed the gifts to 49 different families.

Most of the beneficiaries were daily wagers and who were hardly able to meet their needs. Hence, they were happy for their new source of income and expressed their gratitude towards the church. “Thank you so much for gifting me a sewing machine,” said Mrs. Kathu, a beneficiary, “Now, I can earn and support my family myself.”
