450 People Benefit from New Bore Well in the Diocese of Chennai

On 9th June 2014, the Diocese of Chennai inaugurated a new bore well for the villagers. More than 450 people use this bore well for their daily water needs.

The villagers were facing severe water scarcity from a long time. The poor, illiterate people couldn’t afford a bore well for themselves. They used to wait for hours for a vehicle which provided water. Under these circumstances the leadership of Believers Church decided to install a bore well for the villagers.

The villagers were very happy and said, “There is no water resource nearby. We always waited for the corporation water, or sometimes borrowed it from others, but now we have bore well in our location and we are blessed by that. We are thankful to God and the leaders of Believers Church.”

Through bore wells and BioSand water filters Believers Church has changed the lives of many communities.
