On 11 November 2022, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kohalpur organized a free medical camp through Hope for Children at the premises of Believers English School in Banke District, Nepal.
Organized with the aim of promoting health awareness among the school students and their parents, the camp offered specialist consultations and medicines; all completely free of charges.
Nine doctors including ENT, dermatologist, general medicine, child health specialists, and two nurses were present at the medical camp to provide free consultation to the children. A total of 430 children could avail the benefit of the camp.
Inaugurating the medical camp, the diocesan vicar said, “If children are healthy and physically fit they will be able to do better in school. Healthy children build healthy nations”.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ram Bahadur Malla, the chief of social service department at Nepalganh Medical Collage said, “To bring health awareness among children such medical camps should be conducted in all schools.”
