Forty-three women in Believers Church Bengaluru Diocese completed six-month tailoring courses offered through Bridge of Hope on 26th January 2014. Community members gathered in two locations to celebrate their graduation. Mr. Shanthappa (Dalit Sangha leader) and Mr. Rajasab (School Development Monitoring Committee Leader) were special guests. They appreciated Bridge of Hope for impacting many poor lives.
“I have four children,” said a woman named Rasidha, “and my husband left me five years ago, I’m still young and wanted to learn some tailoring so I can help my children’s education and their basic needs and look after the expenses of the house. Thank you very much for all the efforts and help that Bridge of Hope has given me.”
This is just one example of how Bridge of Hope centers help needy community members.
