Learn about the 13 Apostles (includes St. Paul), about their life and mission. This we can do by
1. Reading the Book of Acts: Since there are 13+1 days, if we read 2 chapters a day, we can finish reading the whole book within 14 days.
2. Listening to Hon Metropolitan’s teaching through the book of Acts. I’m sure that you have already listened to it during the workers meetings held recently. But take time to listen to it again.

1. Pray for our Bishops and priests. They are the followers of the Apostles.
2. Pray to God to raise and send more individuals to do what the Apostles did. “Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send more workers.” (Matt 9:37-38)
3. Organise prayer meetings specifically for this.
4. During cottage/house prayers, family prayer, individual prayers give priority and importance to these prayer requests.
Help with finances those who are doing the work of the apostles today i.e. our missionaries/evangelists, SoC, priests and others. Your family can save money during the Apostles’ Fast to give, or you can strive to eat simple food and give the money you saved to further the mission that the Apostles started.
We are called to ‘imitate their faith’. Hebrews 13:7 tells us, “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.”
That means, we should deliberately do whatever we can to imitate the life of the Apostles.
