37 Families Benefit from Poverty Alleviation Gift Distribution in Karnataka

On 23rd January 2014, a poverty alleviation gift distribution program was held in Believers Church Bengaluru Diocese. The gifts include pairs of goats, sewing machines, and roofing sheets. Overall 37 families were benefited from the program.

The panchayat leader said, “Nowadays nobody is looking after the needy and poor, but Believers Church is doing great works in our society.”

This is one of the many ways Believers Church helps people to break the cycle of poverty .The church works among impoverished communities throughout the year, providing for basic needs like warmth, water and education.
