349 Families Benefit from Poverty Alleviation Program in Siliguri Diocese

On 3rd March 2014, Believers Church Siliguri Diocese conducted a poverty-alleviating gift distribution program. Overall 349 families benefited from the program. Bishop Emanuel Juribu distributed gifts among people.

Ms. Joyti Tirkey (local sabhadhipati leader) was the chief guest of the program. In her speech she praised the work of Believers Church and its leadership for its effort to brightening up the lives of poor and needy. Several newspapers and a local TV channel also reported on the program.

These gifts will make a huge difference in the lives of the recipients. And these are only a few among thousands that have received income-generating gifts through Believers Church’s poverty alleviation project.
